Week 47 (26 Apr 2016) - Post Development - Performance Improvements


Video rendering is the main performance limit. Although hardware is a physical limitation, but in software part, we have to use some efficient encoding format to improve the performance. The time user has to wait also a factor that affects UX. We have to reduce the time and add transition to enhance the experience.

Week 46 (19 Apr 2016) - Development – Debugging

Debugging is the most significant progress before delivering an complete application. We test the prototype version and refine it if there is any bugs. We found that there are some minor mistakes in programming part such as syntax errors and logic errors. In doing so, we are assigned to rectify different bugged parts.

Week 44 (5 Apr 2016) - Testing – Web Share – Integration of Account System

We integrate the account system into Web Share to provide more user interaction on web platform. Like and comment system enhance the communication between viewers and creators. The interaction have help both viewers and creator to understand more about concept behind the video and the idea of viewers.


It also can build up a small community for video creation.

Week 43 (29 Mar 2016) - Development – Web Share – Account System


For a personal Web Share page, it requires an account system to identify every single user. So we are starting to build the account system for Web Share. Viewer is not required to login when just watching video. We simplify the register process by just for faster access.

Week 41 (15 Mar 2016) - Development – Web Share – Multi Angle Player Implementation


As the native app can play multi angle video, we are working on Web Share. As the technology limitation, it may not work well as native app. Because the limitation of technology support and bandwidth, it may not work as smooth as native app. But we still try to bring the feature for every viewer. Viewer should have the option to see every record event in more than just one angle.
